The Sanskrit tattoo on my arm reads “Ishvara Pranidhana” ~ surrender to the Divine.
It’s a yogic practice that has always resonated with me because it so quickly helps me relax back into the flow of life when I lose my way.
It reminds me to drop expectations + trying to control outcomes, and trust that life always unfolds exactly as it should.
It reminds me to embrace + honour my flaws and my challenges, as facing these are what help us grow and evolve.
It reminds me to approach life as a sacred practice in itself ~ and of the magic that comes from doing so with reverence and ritual.
And it reminds me that ‘the Divine’ or God is actually a resource / place within our own hearts ~ an unchanging source of peace that we can return to simply with our next mindful breath.
Especially at unsettled / unusual times like these…
~ May we keep remembering the power of our practice.
~ May we connect to our inner resources for finding peace.
~ May we find the teachings/ techniques that resonate most with our own hearts. 🧡🦋✨
